Thank you to all our photography contest entrants. Below find out more about the winners.
I am married, have two grown children and five grandchildren. I have lived in Kitsap County for most of my life. I am a photographer and watercolor artist. About ten years ago, I started getting serious about photography, and started selling photo cards in the local stores and to friends. Living in Kitsap County gives me ample opportunity for photography subjects.
The contest is over and the it was a photo finish! A special thank you for all the talented photographers that summited photos! The top 5 photos and their photographers will be featured in an upcoming post.
We had a great time taking an afternoon and cruising over to Seattle via the Bainbridge Ferry and walking down to Seattle’s Great Wheel to take it for a spin or should I say it took us for a spin.
The Ferris Wheel has glass enclosed gondolas that are climate controlled. The view is spectacular and if the wheel stops while you are at the top, there is plenty of time to enjoy the Seattle Skyline and the views of the Puget Sound.
Sit back relax and enjoy the video of our trip. Then get out there and ride the Great Wheel of Seattle!
Summer just would not be summer without some time spent boating on the salty waters of the puget sound. The kids really enjoy wave jumping, geting splashed, wet and wild while keeping cool.
Truth be told I have just as much fun as the kids!
After wave Jumping, we like to go check our crab pot and see if we caught any Dungeness crab. This time out we had around seven crab in the pot, and although I was being very careful not to get pinched, when I reached in I did not see the crab right under the one I was reaching for and it pinched me good. It drew first blood.
